RFA: Outreach and Education to Increase Minority Enrollment in the AIDS Drug Assistance Program

On June 23rd, the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute (DOH AI) released a Request for Applications (RFA) for outreach and education efforts by community-based organizations to increase the number of minorities participating in the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and other public or private health care coverage programs. Through this RFA, DOH AI will award approximately $1.8 million in funding to support up to 11 awards statewide. The primary service to be delivered under this initiative is to enroll minorities who have HIV/AIDS delivered through the program are outreach, education, screening, enrollment, assessment and referral, and follow-up and closure.
