RFP: Preventing Infectious Disease in People Who Use Drugs

On July 9th, Public Health Solutions (PHS), on behalf of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of services that reduce hepatitis C and HIV infection and address health inequities faced by individuals who use drugs. PHS will award $656,000 in annual funding across four substance use treatment programs that provide HIV and viral hepatitis screening, diagnosis, counseling, linkage to care, and harm reduction services. There will be one award in each of the following boroughs: Bronx; Brooklyn; Manhattan; and Queens.
