Addiction Services Telepractice Funding Opportunity

On February 3rd, the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) released a Request for Applications (RFA) to fund the expansion of telepractice capacity and equipment with the purpose of increasing access to addiction treatment services in underserved communities.

OASAS will provide approximately $930,000 in total funding to eligible providers across New York State with the goal of funding one provider in each county to purchase equipment and develop telepractice capacity. Funding for this project is provided by the State Opioid Response Grant awarded to OASAS from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

A summary of the RFA is attached. The full RFA is available here. Applications are due on February 24th and will be reviewed and accepted in order of receipt.
