Apartment Treatment Housing RFP

On January 25th, the New York State Office of Mental Health released a Request for Proposals (RFP) that offers an opportunity for current operators of a Treatment Apartment Program (TAP) in New York City to expand their programs. Under this RFP, a total of 36 TAP housing units will be developed by five organizations for individuals with serious mental illness, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorder. TAP operators will provide rehabilitative services, skills training, support, and discharge planning to residents in an apartment setting. The units are intended to be transitional and must be developed as scattered site rental units.
