On August 31st, the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) released a Request for Applications (RFA) for the development and reinforcement of regional networks of care. The networks will provide prevention, treatment, and recovery services and operate in collaboration with other systems of care. OASAS will distribute over $47 million to networks of providers that represent the full array of OASAS services in regions across the state, allowing individuals and families to easily access and stay connected to services. Funding is allocated to this program as part of the 2020 State Opioid Response Grant that the State received from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
A summary is attached, and the full RFP is available here. Applications are due on October 5th.
