On January 28th, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a proposed rule that would refine the methodologies used for resetting benchmarks for accountable care organizations (ACOs) that continue to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) after their initial agreement period.
