RFA: Opioid Treatment Program Additional Location

On March 18th, the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) released a Request for Applications (RFA) for one-time funding to support Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Additional Locations. An OTP Additional Location is a facility established as part of, but geographically separate from, an existing OASAS-certified OTP. OTP Additional Locations are not required to be freestanding entities and may be co-located with other services.

OASAS will provide up to $1 million in total funding to support five providers in developing OTP Additional Locations. This funding is made available through supplemental funding allocated by the federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act to the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant program.

Eligible applicants include voluntary agencies or other not-for-profit organizations that currently operate OASAS-certified OTPs. Providers that operate multiple OTPs may apply for multiple awards; however, a separate application is required for each OTP Additional Location.

The RFA is available here and SPG’s summary of the opportunity is attached. Applications are due on April 14th.
