On April 27th, CMS issued a proposed rule to update the 2019 federal fiscal year hospice payment rate. The rule also proposes changes to the scope of practice for physician assistants, Hospice Compare website, Hospice Quality Reporting measure assessment, and requests information on new interoperability requirements.
CMS will accept comments on the proposed rule until June 26th. The rule is available here. and a summary can be found here.
