On February 12th, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for not-for-profit organizations to expand or establish Part 820 Residential Services programs in Bronx and Kings Counties. Programs should provide services to individuals in need of residential care, as determined by the OASAS Level of Care for Alcohol and Drug Treatment Referral application. Up to $22.5 million in total operating funding will be available over five years for this initiative. Additional capital grants will be provided to eligible organizations based on available funding and geographic need as determined by OASAS.
