SOI: Specialty Training for Peer Workers/Supervisors

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking Letters of Interest for a statewide initiative to organize, coordinate, and deliver competency-based training for certain specialty areas among the peer support and supervision workforce. Through this initiative, OMH aims to increase:

  • Access to peer services for these specialty populations; 
  • The capacity for agencies to provide peer services to these populations; and 
  • The retention of peer staff through quality peer-informed supervision. 

Eligible applicants must have experience:

  • Delivering training curriculum for the mental health peer workforce;
  • Developing online modules for the mental health peer workforce; and 
  • Providing oversight and maintenance of learning management/student information systems.
