Mother Cabrini Foundation Grant Programs

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation is a new $3.2 billion New York health foundation that aims to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable New Yorkers, bolster the health outcomes of diverse communities, and eliminate barriers to care. The Cabrini Foundation plans to grant up to $150 million annually to support not-for-profit organizations that sponsor activities, programs, and initiatives to enhance access to affordable, high-quality health care and related services. The Foundation has three grantmaking programs:

  • Statewide Grants Program: Focuses on annually-determined grant priorities.
  • Regional Grants Program: Provides regionally-proportionate funding for targeted projects (applications are invite-only).
  • Special Initiatives Grants Program: Funds innovative projects (applications are invite-only).

On April 18th, the Cabrini Foundation commenced its Letter of Inquiry (LOI) process. A summary of the funding opportunities and application process is attached. Additional information can be found here. LOIs for the first round of funding are due on May 9th.
