OASAS Funding to Hire New NPs and CRPAs

On October 18th, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) released a Request for Applications (RFA) to support agencies that qualify as Vital Access Providers to recruit and retain Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and/or Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs) for their outpatient and opioid treatment programs. OASAS will provide a total of $5 million in one-time grants of Behavioral Health Transformation funds to support eligible organizations with recruitment and salary support for new staff.
