RFP for Assessment Shelter Medical Services

On January 8th, the New York City Department of Homeless Services released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified health care provider to provide medical and behavioral health services at the Atlantic Men’s Shelter, a 394-bed assessment shelter for homeless men located in Brooklyn. One awardee will receive about $2.9 million over three years to provide comprehensive on-site services, including medical and behavioral health assessments, care coordination, crisis prevention and intervention, short-term care and counseling, and referrals to care in the community, with the overall goal of expanding and refining services at the site.
