Proposed RFP for HIV Care Coordination Services

On August 22nd, the NYC Department of Mental Health (DOHMH), in collaboration with Public Health Solutions (PHS), released a Concept Paper for a forthcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Ryan White Part A Funded Services Care Coordination Program. This program, for which there is $21,072,362 allocated for the first contract year, will provide funding to qualified contractors to establish programs that provide care coordination services to individuals who are HIV-infected and meet the medical eligibility criteria for services. There will be 23-26 contracts awarded in NYC and each contract will provide $450,000-$1,600,000 in annual funding. Contracts will last for three years beginning on June 1, 2018. To be considered for funding under this RFP, applicants must have a brick-and-mortar site located in at least one NYC borough.

The NYC DOHMH and PHS will hold a Town Hall Meeting on September 18th from 9am to 12pm to solicit feedback on the Concept Paper for this planned RFP. The meeting will be located at NYC DOHMH (Gotham Center, 42-09 28th St., Long Island City, NY 11101, 3rd Floor Auditorium) and registration to attend the meeting in person is available here. Interested parties who are unable to attend the meeting in person can register to participate via webinar here.
