HIV Employment Initiative RFP

On January 22nd, the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, in collaboration with the AIDS Institute of the New York State Department of Health, released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the HIV Employment Initiative (HEI). This initiative is seeking qualified not-for-profit or public organizations to support the employment and training needs of persons living with HIV.

A total of approximately $1.2 million dollars will be awarded over a 12-month period to public or not-for-profit organizations that will provide intensive job placement services to help individuals living with HIV enter or reenter the workforce and provide case management services to ensure continued health and supportive needs when those individuals begin working.
