Cancer Services Program RFA

On January 26th, the New York State Department of Health released a Request for Applications (RFA) seeking hospitals, primary care networks, or other organizations to implement breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening programs through the Cancer Services Program (CSP). This program aims to facilitate access to high-quality cancer screening and follow-up services to reduce morbidity, mortality, and health-related disparities among New York State residents, with a focus on populations who are medically underserved. Approximately $40 million in State Infrastructure funding will be awarded to 22 organizations over five years to implement the screening programs. Additionally, a total of $30.5 million will be available for service funding, along with reimbursement for services provided.
