Cancellation and Alteration of Mandatory Medicare Bundled Payment Models

On August 15^th, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a proposed rule that would make changes to the CJR model and cancel several other mandatory payment models that were finalized but not implemented under the Obama Administration.

CMS will accept comments on the proposed rule until October 14^th. A summary of major provisions of the rules is attached. The full proposed rule is available here.
