Josh Schultz is a consultant at Sachs Policy Group, where he focuses on federal and state health policy, and supports health care technology clients. Prior to SPG, Josh managed federal policy and supported key business priorities at hCentive, a Virginia-based technology company that helped build and operate the Massachusetts State Marketplace, helped launch parts of HealthCare.gov, and was instrumental in building components of the New York State of Health Marketplace. Josh previously worked at the Medicare Rights Center, where he counseled and represented Medicare and dual-eligible clients in hearings and appeals related to Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, billing and payment issues. He also served as an expert resource for advocates and legal assistance groups for Medicare and the Affordable Care Act during the New York State of Health roll-out.
Josh has a B.A. in Political Science from Willamette University and has completed graduate coursework in Health Policy at The George Washington University.
